The EVerest project, initiated by PIONIX and now part of Linux Foundation Energy, benefits from a global community of developers and experts. It continually improves through collaborations with EV OEMs, EVSE businesses, and academics. PIONIX’s commercial version, BaseCamp, enhances the open-source core with regular updates, rigorous testing, and user-friendly features.

Enteligent’s integration of this software marks the first commercial deployment of EVerest in a direct solar-powered EV charger. The collaboration with PIONIX is set to enable rapid deployment of new features and customizations, ensuring a superior charging experience for users.

Dr. Marco Möller, CEO of PIONIX, highlighted the potential impact of the TLCEV charger, stating, “It enables EV users to shift to daytime charging, fully utilizing green overhead solar generation.” This innovation aligns with their mission to promote e-mobility powered by sustainable energy sources.

Enteligent’s TLCEV chargers offer up to 25 kW of fast DC charging, a significant advancement over traditional AC Level 2 chargers. They support V2H and V2G applications, enhancing home energy resilience and generating significant energy savings. The direct DC charging method bypasses internal conversion electronics in EVs, leading to faster charging and up to 25% energy savings.
